Ciara O’Connell is Curated Place’s senior producer in Ireland - a passionate and experienced arts professional. Based in Waterford she leads Curated Place’s Ireland office and has worked throughout Ireland’s cultural sector for the past fifteen years.

Ciara has extensive leadership experience through her time working in the high-end festivals, education and the creative industries and has an in depth understanding of Irish events legislation and licensing. She is at her best when she’s assembling, developing and leading extensive teams of industry professionals across complex multi-agency projects, and managing the needs and expectations of stakeholders.

Ciara specialises in festivals, music and theatre has run multiple venues as owner and proprietor, strategically led Waterford’s Summer in the City festival and Púca Festival through a step change in activity and has well-developed relationships with Arts Council Ireland, Culture Ireland and Fáilte Ireland.
